 Walk 8 - Monte Patino Circuit.

This route circles and climbs the Parks’ western most peak above 1800 metres, and the closest to Norcia. There are fine views to the West over Norcia, as well as into the heart of the Sibillini range towards Monte Vettore. The route follows the wooded valleys to the North and South of the mountain, which are in stark contrast to its exposed rocky summit.

Total Time: 5 hours
Total Ascent: 870 metres
Total Distance: 12 km

There are some steep ascents and descents, sometimes with uneven or loose footing, but for the most part the paths are good and easy to follow.
