19 - Valle Tre Santi This route ascends the Eastern side of the
Sibillini range, using the natural gorge carved by the Torrente
Tennacola. This river has been tapped for its natural spring water, so
it is often now dry in places. Most of the Valle Tre Santi actually
lies outside of the National Park, and this walk only goes into the
Park very briefly, at its Western extreme. However, it is still a very
beautiful area, with many splendid locations to appreciate. The
paths followed by this route are sometimes indistinct, with some rough
footing and places which can be slippery in wet conditions. Use of a
compass is required. Total Time: 5.0 hours You can download the full description for this walk, as a PDF document, from the Sibillini Walks Home Page. |
